Why volunteer?

Join Hong Kong's community service marathon and be part of this important initiative that gives back to the community:

• Learn more about Hong Kong's pressing social issues
• Familiarize yourself with Hong Kong's vibrant NGO sector and its valuable work serving those in need
• Sample different types of volunteer activities at different times of the week
• Participation is FREE for individuals and groups​
• All volunteer hours will be counted and collectively reported following Serve-a-thon

Volunteer as a group:

1. Click on our calendar and select the activity of your choice on a day and time convenient to your team
2. If you are not already a member, please join and wait for your membership confirmation email
3. Invite team members to join the selected activity (they will each need to register)
4. Once registered, you will each receive an email confirming your activity

Volunteer as an individual:

1. Click on our calendar and select the activity of your choice on a day and time convenient for you
2. If you are not already a member, please join and wait for your membership confirmation email
3. Once registered, you will receive an email confirming your activity

​Please note:

• Sign ups for activities are taken on a first come, first served basis
• Registration is free to individuals or small groups (families, friends, schools, civic organizations)
• Corporations are required to follow the corporate registration procedure
